Most women are very particular in taking care of their hair. Some are even willing to spend thousands of dollars just to keep its beauty and glam. A lot of women will do everything just to make their hair healthy, shiny and amazing. There is no question that hair is an important part of the body. When people, especially women, have hair problems, they will do everything they can to find a remedy to this problem as fast as they can. Problems such as split ends, hair breakage, frizz and dryness are taken very seriously. However, there are instances where a problem is not just as simple as frizz, dryness or split ends.

Hair loss is one of the most common problems women have to face. This condition is a lot more serious than other hair problems and needs to be treated properly. Many people have researched on the causes of hair loss. Everything have been scrutinized, from genes to environmental factors. You d find a long list of possible causes for this condition. One of the causes for hair loss that is easily missed by a lot of people is stress.

A lot of health conditions stem from stress and fatigue. Some of these conditions are depression, anxiety, anorexia and hypertension. Stress is one of the factors which can greatly affect the growth of your hair.

Stress and fatigue can cause hair to grow thin. If the condition persists, thinning hair can eventually progress to hair loss and baldness.

If you are stressed out and experiencing hair loss, one of the things you have to do is to learn how to deal with stress. Do not immediately resort to getting treatments or medications for hair loss as your condition may be treated by simply following some effective stress coping mechanisms. Here are some coping mechanisms you can try to manage stress.

1. Always try to be positive. No matter how difficult the situation you are in is, you have to try and see the better side of things. Focusing on the bad side will only stress you more and will not do anything good.

2. Deep Breathing. One of the most effective thing you can do when faced with a lot of stress is to stop, take a moment, breathe deeply and exhale slowly. When you are stressed, your body becomes anxious because your mind is anxious. You have to learn how to relax yourself when faced with anxiety. Breathing deeply will improve blood circulation, letting all parts of your body, including your hair, to get enough oxygen and nutrients.

3. Take time for yourself and meditate. Find a quiet place to rest and meditate. Meditation helps you gather positive energy so you can go through your everyday tasks without getting stressed out.

4. Exercise. Regular exercise is a great stress buster. When you exercise, you are improving blood circulation and muscle strength. The better blood circulation is, the more nutrients your hair will receive. You don t have to hit the gym to exercise. Simple exercises like walking and sit ups are enough.

Stress is a part of everyday life but you don t have to sacrifice your beautiful hair for it. Learn how to manage stress and you will eventually see that you are growing beautiful and healthy tresses.
