The food served in a wedding ceremony is a yardstick to measure the hospitality of
the hosts. Most people remember a wedding because of the food they were served at
the reception. In earlier times, the host used to hire the services of a “halwai”/cook and his assistants to prepare the delicacies in a part of the wedding venue. But in today’s time,
it proves very monotonous due to the lack of professional qualification of the “halwais”.

Nowadays, people have access to different cuisines from around the world which have given them a taste for international dishes. In a wedding ceremony where everybody looks for something special, the food too has to keep up with the changing trends. In addition to Indian dishes, Continental, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Malaysian, Italian, gourmet cuisines are in great demand to cater to a upwardly mobile guest list.

For the more grounded guests, Hyderabadi Non-veg, Kassmiri kebabs and keema dishes
together with a variety of rice based dishes like Shahi Biryani, Badam pulao, Fried rice with different flavours etc. can make up for an appetizing meal.

Beverages form an integral addition to any number of dishes. These may range from lemonades, pineapple juices, strawberry delights, apple fizz, Margherritas, lassis, chocolate drinks to popular carbonated beverages etc. To source the right beverage to go with the right cuisine needs prior planning to rule out any confusion. Professional expertise in this regard can save a situation and make the most of the occasion.

Indians are crazy about sweets. A wedding ceremony would be incomplete without a generous addition of sweetmeats to it’s dishes. Rasmalai, gulab jamun, rasgollas, jalebis
phirnis with different flavours are some popular sweets just to name a few which are served as deserts after a sumptuous meal.

The wedding cake though a later addition to Indian weddings occupy centre-stage these days due to the elegance and style factor. A beautifully decorated delicious looking cake at the centre table of the reception hall is remembered by all long after the occasion is over. Literally the icing on the cake is that the host need not go from shop to shop looking for that ideal cake . He/she can have it delivered to her wedding venue with the
right accessories like a huge silver platter with a silver knife etc.

Just serving delicious food is not enough. The way food is served is another important aspect of good hospitality. The uniform layout of the food on the plates is very important so that each guest feels special. The manner in which the trays are carried to the tables says a lot about the standards of the event. When people clad in neat uniforms do it with a
smile on their faces the guests feel welcomed and it makes up for any possible goof-ups
at welcoming the guests by the hosts.

Now you can order for the best catering services for a wide range of cuisines from across the globe, sitting at your home at your doorstep on your wedding day.
